NUTC Hosts AFRICAPLUS Forum



On March 7, NUTC hosted African Labyrinths: Corruption, Democracy, & Insecurity, an AfricaPlus forum on how corruption in Africa impacts every aspect of African life and development. Prominent experts—NUTC’s Professor Richard Joseph, Professor Wale Adebanwi, Ambassador Dr. John Campbell, and Professor Juliet Sorensen (bios in caption) discussed how the corruption impacts modernization and growth of important infrastructure systems and networks, including transportation, electrical and water systems, as well as other vital public sector networks.

NUTC Releases Red Light Camera Report



In 2015, the Chicago Department of Transportation (CDOT) engaged a team of academics with expertise in traffic engineering and traffic safety to conduct a “comprehensive review” of the red-light camera program. Northwestern University led this study which included an expert panel of advisors from University of Arizona, University of South Florida, and Texas A&M University.
