New Research Project: Connected and Autonomous Vehicles

In collaboration with researchers at UC-Berkeley and Leidos, Inc., NUTC leads a new project for the Federal Highway Administration at the US Department of Transportation, to develop analysis/modeling/simulation (AMS) framework for connected and/or autonomous vehicle environments. The objective of the effort is to eventually develop modeling and simulation tools that can support analysis of alternative technological options and operational concepts intended for connected and autonomous vehicles.
