We are pleased to announce the appointment of Professor Elie Azoulay as the next Editor in Chief of Intensive Care Medicine.
Elie Azoulay from Saint-Louis University Hospital in Paris, France is a highly respected specialist in critical and respiratory care, a reviewer of many journals and editor of two books. He has also held the positions of National Council representative for France to ESICM, Chair of the ESICM Ethics Section and Associate Editor of Intensive Care Medicine (ICM).
Elie will take over the official post, held by current Editor in Chief Massimo Antonelli in January 2013. Over recent years, ICM has evolved considerably and has seen unparalleled expansion in terms of quality and acclaim. We look forward with confidence to yet more growth and progress under the enthusiastic guidance of Elie Azoulay and his editorial team.
