IHE-Europe Ready for Week of Interoperability
The IHE-Europe Connectathon
is set to begin Monday, April 11 at the RuhrCongress in Bochum, Germany. In connection with that week-long testing event--the largest one held annually in Europe--IHE-Europe and IHE-Germany are hosting two special events for health IT stakeholders:
- IHE Symposium - Focusing on the theme of “Changing the Landscape with Interoperability," this one-day conference Tuesday, April 12, will offer perspectives for newcomers, as well as experienced professionals, on EU policy, key European initiatives and funded project activities on eHealth interoperability.
- German Interoperability Day - This inaugural event Wednesday, April 13, will feature policy makers at the national and regional level, administrators charge of provision and reimbursement of care, and industry representatives engaging in a lively dialog around the current status of eHealth interoperability.
Both events will offer VIP tours on the IHE Connectathon testing floor, enabling a limited number of attendees to look behind the scenes of this remarkable hub of health IT testing.
