Tomorrow, September 30, is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. To commemorate this important day for reflection and action, Snow Valley Aerial Park staff will be wearing orange shirts.
Also, all proceeds from Aerial Park tickets will be donated to
Spirit North.
Spirit North is a national charitable organization that uses land-based activities to improve the health and well-being of Indigenous youth, empowering them to become unstoppable in sport, school and life. Learn more about Spirit North here...
On Saturday and Sunday, all proceeds from Whitemud Creek Mining Co will be donated to YESS, Youth Empowerment & Support Services. Their mission is "to walk beside traumatized youth on their journey towards healing and appropriate community integration". Our mining sponsors Amalgamated Mining Group also believe in YESS and are the driving force behind this event.
PLEASE NOTE:
In accordance with Alberta provincial restrictions, Snow Valley's Ski Swap will be implementing 1/3 fire code capacity at all times within the Lodge.
This applies to the consignment day (Oct. 23) as well as the sale event (Oct. 24).
Masks are required in all indoor areas and physical distancing will be in effect.
