Tuesday, Nov. 29 – the 8th graders have designated this day as “Anything but a Backpack Day” They encourage students to be creative and bring their stuff to school in anything but a backpack.

Mark your calendars for Saturday, December 3rd for Christmas on the Square (in Sully)
Once again, SCS will host the cookie decorating for Christmas on the Square. We will be located at the Sully Community Building from 9:00a -11:45a along with a number of kids' activities.

Next week on Thursday, Dec. 1, we will start a school service project, “Reverse Advent Calendar” (click to view full calendar) Please don’t worry if you don’t have the exact item for the day. Any item will be fine. At the end of the month, the donations will be split between the East Jasper Christian Food Pantry and the Pella Food Shelf.

Friday, Dec. 2 – Middle School night at PCHS. The PC basketball teams will be taking on Oskaloosa. The JV girls start at 4:45, varsity girls at 6:15 and varsity boys at 7:45. All middle school students (5th-8th graders) receive free admission, free concession snacks and a chance to win free PC prizes. Stop by the MS table upon arrival.

It was announced in our recent newsletter.
Sully Christian School is seeking a Full-Time Head Cook for the 2023-2024 school year. With the option to come on as a part-time cook this second semester and train alongside Sheila to finish out this school year. The full-time position is approximately 5 hours per day/25 hours weekly, with the average hours being from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. This person would not work on days school is not in session.
