Mrs. Ansley is looking for willing and able volunteers to sew some Dutch uniforms for marching band. Our band doubled in size this year! We will need shirts (harder) and pants (easy) made by April. LOG-STO Announcement-Many of you know sending children to a Christian school requires a significant financial commitment. Many families that have children enrolled in a Christian school could not do so if it wasn’t for tuition assistance programs. There is a great way for you to help these families while helping yourself, through a School Tuition Organization (STO). Our school belongs to the Legacy of Grace (LOG) STO, whose sole purpose is to assist these families who desire a Christian education in our area. The blessing to the families is a Christian education, the blessing to you in helping them is you receive a 75% tax credit toward your state income tax. The STO is a fantastic way to divert tax dollars to support families who desire a choice in their education. There are even more benefits if you can donate appreciated stock or grain or required minimum distributions out of your retirement account. Since 2007, the LOG STO has distributed 6 million dollars in tuition assistance to families attending Christian schools in our area. This year we still have over $150,000 to raise by December 31. This program is very important to our area Christian schools. Would you please consider giving to this very important fund? Sully Christian School is seeking a Full-Time Head Cook for the 2023-2024 school year. With the option to come on as a part-time cook this second semester and train alongside Sheila to finish out this school year. The full-time position is approximately 5 hours per day/25 hours weekly, with the average hours being from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. This person would not work on days school is not in session.
