1st & 2nd Grade Chapel

SIX EIGHT SERVE | Sugar Cookie Sale
Tis the season of holiday baking, time with family, and, most importantly, giving thanks. Our students are looking to raise money to be a blessing by giving back this season.
The 6:8 Serve Students are selling frozen ready-to-bake Christmas cut-out sugar cookies. (star, tree, & snowman)
1 dozen = $6 *Limited Supply
All Money raised from purchased cookies will be donated to Holt International.
The students chose to support this Christian organization as they have been guiding the Van Zante family through their adoption process. Holt also offers many other services that strengthen families and care for vulnerable children.

Sully Christian School is seeking a Full-Time Head Cook for the 2023-2024 school year. With the option to come on as a part-time cook this second semester and train alongside Sheila to finish out this school year. The full-time position is approximately 5 hours per day/25 hours weekly, with the average hours being from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. This person would not work on days school is not in session.

Tuesday, Nov. 29 – the 8th graders have designated this day as “Anything but a Backpack Day” They encourage students to be creative and bring their stuff to school in anything but a backpack.

PCHS 8th Grade Visit Day: On Tuesday, November 22 our 8th grade students will be visiting PCHS during the morning. They will attend chapel, visit classrooms, participate in a student panel Q&A and enjoy Thanksgiving lunch at the high school. Candice Vos will be taking our students.

Tuesday, Nov. 29 – Katie Cantu from Jasper County Conservation will be at school to talk to the 5th & 6th grade Literature class about survival skills. This corresponds with the book they are reading…” Hatchet”

The Pella Christian Shine Dance Team clinic and showcase is Saturday, December 17. The clinic will be from 12/17/22: 8:45-11:00 with the showcase at 4:00 p.m. Registration forms are in the attachment and are due back in the school office by November 22.
