We are getting ready for ZOOM!

Pastor Marilyn leads our first Zoom test

We tried an experiment last Wednesday night during the regular Wednesday Night Bible Study time. Our Pastor and several others got on Zoom to see if it could help us engage more personally during our Sunday Worship time. You can see what we did on Facebook. It was streamed live at the time.

We will try at least one more test, and YOU might want to be involved. Charisse tells us that you'll need to download Zoom on your computer or smart device. The FREE Zoom account will work just fine, but you don't need a Zoom account to use it.

Then, on Wednesday night just before 7pm, please open the App and join us on Zoom....
   1. The meeting ID is: 554 319 7268. Type or copy and paste that in.
   2. Type in your name and press Next.
   3. The password for this meeting is "bible".

But if you just want to watch what we're doing on Wednesday - and NOT participate virtually - you can go to our Facebook LIVE page around 7pm. With any luck, we will stream the Zoom feed there.

Charisse says "I can't wait until we can get on this!" The others were quite enthusiastic as well.

Join us if you can. And then watch for an announcement about when we will launch this new Worship format.

In the meantime, Pastor Marilyn will continue to give us a Word of Encouragement on Sunday morning beginning at 10am on Facebook.

Power Pledge Initiative Update

Imani Reaches Halfway Mark in 2020 Power Pledge Initiative!

The Committee for the 2020 Power Pledge Initiative is excited to announce that the Initiative’s pledgers have reached 50% of their total annual goal!

Participating pledgers have committed to giving a total offering of $24,100 to Imani MCC by year end. The Committee thanks the Power Pledge participants for their faithful and disciplined giving during the first half of the year! We look forward to the additional progress the Power Pledge group will make in coming months.

In response to expressions of appreciation for our virtual Communion celebration on Easter Sunday, we will celebrate Communion via Facebook Live on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Sundays.

Any form of bread and beverage will suffice.

If you can’t make it to Imani MCC to worship one Sunday, please download the Worship Bulletin from the website and pray for us during the service.

And let’s say you are one of our jubilant singers in the choir or the congregation, and you want to make sure you have brushed up on the words for this Sunday’s songs. They are in the bulletin, and you can download it every week.
