When I first started my business, I was elated when I acquired my first client. Having been in business for 8 months now, I’ve realized that, as a Free Agent, I don’t necessarily HAVE to take on every client that wants to do business with me. That’s one of the luxuries of being self-employed. Taking on the wrong client could damage my business’ reputation, be emotionally draining and/or go against my beliefs.
