Now that the Meyvn Group’s Business Book Club is on its summer hiatus, I have the chance to read some of the business books I have laying around. I recently picked up Me 2.0 by Dan Schwabel.
Even though I read the October 2010 Revised edition, I felt that some of the points made were outdated. In his book, Dan Schwabel shows job seekers and professionals how to leverage the power of digital media to manage their personal brand. So you can see why the content can quickly become obsolete.

How to Get Started with Google+ Hangouts On Air
I've been using Google+ hangouts for some time now for virtual meetings; they're great, just like Skype but without the cumbersome email and downloading Skype to my computer. With the click of a button within Google+, I can chat live using both audio and video components with up to 10 people.
Google's taken this concept another step further by launching its Hangouts On Air which is being gradually released in beta to users. Hangouts On Air allows any Google+ user to stream live video to the whole world. It will also record the video and save it to your YouTube Channel.
