Is there a five-second rule online?
If you drop a piece of food on the floor, pick it up and eat it within five seconds you’re okay. That’s the rule, right? Can this rule also apply to your online practices? Tag a friend in your “Girl’s Night Out” photo only to realize that she might not have her profile on lockdown from public viewing? Unfortunately, the damage has already been done. You can’t take it back. Even if you realize your mistake and untag your friend a few days later, that picture has been viewed by friends and foes on her publicly viewable Facebook page.

Don’t like how your LinkedIn profile is organized?
Good news: you can rearrange the order of the lower profile sections of your LinkedIn Profile.
Your changes will automatically be saved. After you drop the section, no further action is required.
Click on 'Profile' in the top navigation area of your home page. This will take you to the 'Edit My Profile' page.
Hover your mouse over the icon directly to the left of the section you want to move. The move icon looks like a cursor that points in all 4 directions. An explanation box that says 'drag to rearrange Profile sections' will appear.
Click and hold down your left mouse button and drag the section to the area you want it to appear. (Sections cannot go above the blue box on the Profile.)
Release your left mouse button to drop the section into place.

Suzanne is a Des Moines transplant who has realized the Power of being a Free Agent. Well-versed in many and varied skills, she has a passion for helping organizations and people achieve their potential. Suzanne = wife, traveler, multi-linguist, triathlete and cook.
I initially meet Suzanne through the Unemployed in Des Moines networking group she started. I was instantly inspired by her enthusiasm, initiative and resourcefulness in successfully creating her own consulting business – Contemporary Business Solutions. I recently attended her Social Media Workshop Series which I would highly recommend as a wonderful introductory source to gain instant knowledge in social media. She continues to be a key mentor as I now navigate developing my own consulting business. Her multi-faceted business expertise coupled with her “get it done” attitude proves to be a great resource for both start-up and well established companies.
