ONE WEEK TO GIVE FEEDBACK IN STRAND ALDWYCH CONSULTATION

There is one week left to share your views on the council’s proposals for the Strand Aldwych area. Westminster City Council is asking people for feedback on the proposals to improve the Strand Aldwych area, which will enable this unique district to fulfil its potential as a creative and learning quarter for London.

The key proposals include:
• Removing the gyratory and improving safety
• Creating attractive, high quality public spaces
• Improving links for walking and cycling
• Addressing poor air quality
• Supporting culture, ed
ucation and innovation
• Supporting the area’s economy

You can read the full proposals at
www.strandaldwych.org

We have been receiving many comments from cyclists about the proposals. We appreciate the feedback and would stress that these designs are only concepts at this stage and further detailed work will come later. We’ve also updated our website with further information.
GET INVOLVED

There are several ways you can give your feedback on the proposals:
• tell us your views online at
www.strandaldwych.org
• email your comments to strandaldwych@westminster.gov.uk
• come to our exhibition on 7 March and talk to us

Tomorrow, Thursday 7 March, the Strand Aldwych project team will be at St. Mary le Strand Church from 12pm-3pm to talk about the proposals in more detail and answer any questions you may have. We would welcome the opportunity to discuss them with everyone who has a stake in the future of Strand Aldwych.

All of the feedback received will be analysed and used to help develop more detailed designs for further consultation in late 2019.

Please ensure we receive your feedback by 13 March 2019.
