Vermont Farm to School Network Launches Newsletter
The Vermont Farm to School Network is launching a newsletter to help coordinate farm to school efforts (like yours!) and connect them to the great farm to school resources and campaigns from across the state and the nation and this is your preview.

The newsletter will look, well, like this one. It will feature:
  1. A farm to school story from somewhere in the state;
  2. Upcoming professional development opportunities;
  3. Upcoming grant opportunities;
  4. An update on the Vermont Farm to School Network happenings;
  5. A farm to school resource spotlight accompanied with links to several other useful resources;
  6. A spotlight on a great farm to school campaign happening with links to more;
  7. Fun farm to school videos.
The newsletter's purpose is to give you access to as many farm to school related materials as possible. It will be coming to you quarterly, starting in September. Until then, enjoy the sneak peak and have a good summer.

Green Mountain Farm-to-School's "The Lunchbox" is a van that serves free summer meals to kids and teens 18-years-old and under in low-income neighborhoods in Vermont. What makes their mobile summer feeding sites so special is that many of the ingredients in the meals come from local farms.
