CCC Summer Criterium Series Team Call Up
This is a call up for all those Squads wishing to compete in the 2011/12 Summer Criterium Series. In order to have your teams ready to acquire points from the first week of official racing we require your squad and team information now.
As per previous seasons riders can compete as individuals, or in a Squad. In order to align with the timing system our crits will refer to these groups of riders as Squads. Squads are a group of people spread across various grades, all riding for a shared interest or sponsor. Larger squads are broken up into Teams. A team is a group of riders from the same squad. Teams can be made up of 7 riders spread across various grades or the same grade. For example, last year Team MSL had a “Squad” of 45 riders which was broken up across 5 “Teams”.
CCC Criterium Series Grading
Riders will start this season in the grade they finished last season. Any rider who has been promoted during the winter road season will ride in the higher grade. A list of last year’s crit grades is attached. Any changes to these grades prior to the season commencing will be posted on the CCC website, as will grade changes during the season.
