|The Canberra Cycling Club 2011 Annual General Meeting - 31 March 2011
A reminder to Club members that 2011 Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held at the Ainslie Football Club, 52, Wakefield Avenue, Ainsliee, at 7.30 p.m. on Thursday 31 March 2011.
All members are encouraged to attend and have a say in how your Club is run and who you would like to see elected to the new committee. It’s also your chance if you wish, to put your hand up to be on the new committee.
One item up that may be of interest to members is that as part of “General business” a discussion will be held on the Canberra Cycling Club's affiliation with Cycling ACT and whether there is any benefit in pursuing affiliation with Cycling NSW.

CCC Supporting A Grade Teams for Tour
Always wanted to experience team racing? Think you have what it takes to mix it with the top riders in Australia? Well here’s your chance.
The Canberra Cycling Club is looking at sponsoring two (2) teams to enter the Men’s A grade and one (1) team in the Women’s A grade categories of the 2011 Loop Canberra Tour. This unique opportunity will offer riders who are not affiliated with registered teams or who would not otherwise be able to compete in Men’s A grade a chance to compete against some of Australia’s leading riders.
CCC members are advised that NEW STYLE club jerseys are now available at the Bike Shed in Braddon.
The jerseys feature Si Fusion banding on the sleeves (arm gripper) adding to overall comfort and look.

Do not know where to start to get into road cycling and racing?
Well you have come to the right place. The Canberra Cycling Club is pleased to offer a junior program designed to introduce your child to Competitive Road cycling. The Canberra Cycling Club is the force behind the very successful Summer Criterium Series, the Canberra Tour which has seen a HUGE growth in participation over the last four years. In order to help address a growing need for entry level cycling skills for juniors, the CCC is pleased to team up with Bike Shed and one of Canberra’s most successful cycling coaches, to offer a twelve-week cycling program for junior cyclists.
