New Academic Liaison Appointed for BISim Academic Program
Fostering an active user community around BISim’s technology to provide feedback and share ideas is fundamental to BISim’s ability to deliver cutting-edge simulation products and technology. BISim is committed to including academia in this user community to help nurture the next generation of computer game developers and to support academic research in training and simulation.
Under the academic program, BISim provides qualifying academic institutions with academic licenses of the latest VBS3 and VBS Simulation SDK software together with limited technical support for no charge. Any research publications based on the use of our academic license software are expected to be publicly published or made available internally to BISim.
Previously, Andy Fawkes served as BISim’s Academic Liaison. Andy has moved to a new role as editor of MS&T magazine. We wish Andy the best in his new role and have appointed BISim’s Jiri Galajda as our new Academic Liaison. For questions about our Academic Program, contact Jiri at jiri.galajda@bisimulations.com.
