This past weekend, Bermuda was hit with it's second hurricane in only 5 days... it's some kind of record apparently, but all is good. We got power back yesterday afternoon and only ended up with a bit of water damage in the living room, so I call that safe. Boo-hoo to Category 3 Hurricane Gonzalo!

I wanted to share a very cool album review that Dublin fan Alan Jones sent me via email regarding my album, "Dangerously Close"
ps - if you would like a free album download too, just send me a reply letting me know
Got the album, thank you.
And now for the feedback …….
It’s not very often I get an album and on 2nd or 3rd listen don’t skip some the weaker tracks, but Dangerously Close is one such album. Every track has its own personality and right of place on the album.
Trace your Tattoo is the stand out track on the album, by far, and anyone I’ve played it for so far has liked it.
I played it at a gig on Friday night in one of Dublin’s most popular Music Bars, played Trace your Tattoo and the response was great. There is no dancing in the bar but there was plenty of foot tapping and head nodding on show.
One guy came up to me and asked ‘Who’s that? It sounds like Bon Jovi meets Aerosmith’ and when I said no, it was Will Black, he said ‘Who? But I like it’ and said he would check out your site and iTunes.
Original Rose is the next strong track – raw and energetic with a good chorus.
Pretty Garden, Vintage, Rift Valley Fever and Forever Was Never Enough are powerful rock tracks that might be a little too heavy for my venue, but I love them anyway.
I’m not a big fan of ballads generally but, Hell Over Heaven is a good track, and Holy Love is ok.
The last track on an album is usually a filler of some sort, but not Christine, Dangerously Close. This is actually one of the strongest and best tracks on the album and a perfect finishing tune.
And so ends my first album review…….
