A Sunday hello from Keith

December 12 — It's Keith Pepper, founder and publisher of the Draft. Thanks for letting me stop by on a beautiful Sunday. I'll be quick.

First of all, thank you for helping us build something special

Rough Draft has organically grown out of the need I saw for a newsletter that spoke to all of Atlanta, with the goal of giving you the info you need to go about your day.

We try to do it in a concise way that speaks to everybody. In many ways, newsletters like Rough Draft are part of the future of journalism. In a pleasant surprise, a 71-year-old reader recently wrote to tell me how much she enjoyed our format.

Today, I have a fun offer that’s perfectly timed for the holidays: use your personal referral code [this one: <<RH_REFLINK>>] to refer just one friend, and you’ll be entered in a drawing to win one of two $50 gift cards to Sweet Cheats, Shirley Hughes' charming Cabbagetown bakery.

Super easy, right? Share your link with your friends by cutting and pasting into an email, text, or Facebook, and for every one of them that subscribes, you’ll be entered in a drawing to win a $50 gift card.

Again, here’s your personal link: <<RH_REFLINK>>

Thanks again for helping make Rough Draft a success! Your support helps local journalism thrive in metro Atlanta.

Have a great Sunday!
Keith

The fine print: One winner will be chosen at random from all entries at 11:59 p.m., on Friday, December 17 and one winner will be chosen at random from all entries at 11:59 p.m. Monday, December 20. No purchase is necessary.
