Enjoy the Outdoors on Earth Day and All Spring Long

Spring has sprung, so it’s time to get outside and revel in the sunshine. This Earth Day, April 22, everyone is invited to get involved. There are several local nature preserves, parks and organizations that offer ways for you to help maintain our naturally beautiful environment.

The April issue of Atlanta Senior Life features two such groups—Trees Atlanta and Blue Heron Nature Preserve. There’s also an article about Millard Choate, a local builder who shares his inspiration and success at raising funds to find a cure for cystic fibrosis.

Our health writer, Judi Kanne, discusses case management specialists and how they can help patients and their families. You can also find out how technology can assist you and allow you to age in place, and get a good laugh from Joe Earle’s These Days column as he remembers Stories from the Courts.
