1. Pianos for Peace

🎹 If you've noticed colorfully painted pianos along the Atlanta BeltLine, outside MARTA stations, and other public gathering spots, feel free to sit down a play for a while.

Nonprofit organization Pianos for Peace has placed 219 of the instruments around the city (there's an
app to download to find locations) through Sept. 21. The pianos have been decorated by local artists, musicians, and students.

After the display, 50 of the pianos will be donated to local schools, nursing homes, and healthcare facilities, according to the Pianos for Peace founder, pianist and composer Malek Jandali.

Why Routine Care Is Important for Your Pup

🐕 Setting up monthly routine care visits for your dog can save you time and money.

🗓️ When your dog is on a regular schedule of bathing and grooming, health issues from shedding, fleas, ticks, or other skin problems can be identified early and prevent small issues from becoming large ones. That's a win-win-win for your dog, you, and your wallet.

🐾 As a pet parent, you already understand the importance of proper care for your pup. At Scenthound, we provide routine care and basic hygiene to keep your dog clean, healthy, and happy.   With every basic hygiene and routine care appointment, we give your pup a bath, ear cleaning, nail clip, and teeth brushing.

We also do a six-point S.C.E.N.T. Check ™ that details our assessment of your pup’s overall external health.

➡️ Get more information on routine care and click here to book an appointment in Buckhead, Dunwoody, or Tucker!
2. In the Mix with Zainab Johnson

🤣 Hilarious comedian and actor Zainab Johnson is headed back to Atlanta for a sold-out standup set at City Winery tomorrow. It's produced by Laughs by the LB, and you can join the waitlist here.

We caught up with Zainab to ask what she loves about Atlanta, her inspirations, and what's next for her hit Amazon Prime series, "Upload."

🎵 We also got her fantastic In the Mix Spotify playlist, which includes Crime Mob, Ms. Lauryn Hill, Beyonce, and Ain't Afraid.

➡️ Read the Q&A and listen to the playlist here.

🎧 Hear Zainab tell Marc Maron her story of being hit by a truck on a trip to Atlanta when she was 17 years old. (The whole podcast is great, but skip to 55:00 for the Atlanta story.)
