CALL FOR PROPOSALS


If you’re a subject matter expert with a great concept for an educational session, AIA is accepting proposals for AIA Convention 2017 educational sessions through July 15, 2016. 

Your proposal should show how you’ll create an experience that inspires and empowers; features interactive, engaging learning; and showcases emerging trends and innovations.

ARCHITECTS, EPA TEAM UP TO ADVANCE 
ENERGY STAR

The American Institute of Architects (AIA), Public Architecture, and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) have partnered to connect building owners seeking ENERGY STAR certification with licensed professionals willing to provide pro bono verification services.

AIA is offering participating architects up to eight Health, Safety, Welfare (HSW) continuing education units (CEUs). This represents a large portion of the total CEU requirements for architects.

EARTHQUAKE MITIGATION COURSES

Working with local partners and FEMA, Washington County Emergency Management is offering four earthquake mitigation courses this summer. 

The National Earthquake Technical Assistance Program (NETAP) is designed to help state, local and tribal governments obtain the knowledge, tools and support that they need to plan and implement effective earthquake mitigation strategies.
