Presented by Kurt Yeiter, long-range planner for the City of Eugene.

Event Details:

The evening will begin with a social hour at 5:30 pm, with the presentation starting at 6:15 pm on Wednesday, June 22, at Sam Bond’s Brewery at 540 E. 8th Ave. (across the street from the Wayne L. Morse US Courthouse).  Note: this month's chapter meeting will not be catered, but food/drinks are available for purchase at the venue.

EARTHQUAKE MITIGATION COURSES

Working with local partners and FEMA, Washington County Emergency Management is offering four earthquake mitigation courses this summer. 

The National Earthquake Technical Assistance Program (NETAP) is designed to help state, local and tribal governments obtain the knowledge, tools and support that they need to plan and implement effective earthquake mitigation strategies.
