|Fall Watercolor Classes with Jana Bouc
Greetings! I'm writing to let you know that I will be teaching watercolor class again, starting on Saturday, October 17, 2009 and hope that you can join me.
All levels of skill and experience are welcome. Sessions will be tailored to meet your interests and goals.
Have fun, enhance your art, and enjoy painting with a group of artists in a comfortable, supportive environment.
Saturday Mornings: 4 weeks
(note semi-alternating weeks due to my plein air painting schedule)
4 Saturdays: October 17, 31, and November 14, 21
10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
I will help you master the key techniques to feeling more assured when you paint, whether you work from life or from photos, or paint landscape, still life, or portraits.
- Brief demonstrations and other resources offer the opportunity to learn the skills needed to paint with both control and freedom.
- Work from still life set ups or photos, on technique exercises, or on your own paintings in progress.
- Explore color, light, value, textures, painting glass, and basic watercolor techniques such as washes, glazing, wet-in-wet and more.
My home studio 1 mile north of El Cerrito Plaza, just off I-80 Carlson Exit.
Address and directions provided when you register.
E-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org. You may pay by check or credit card via PayPal.

I have been painting (and studying) watercolor for more than 30 years and love to share my knowledge and enthusiasm for watercolor. I believe in providing a positive environment for learning where you can enjoy the process just as much as the end result.
