Walk for Life West Coast
Saturday, January 21, 2017
Civic Center Plaza, San Francisco
Walk for Life would like to wish you and your families a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We are excited to see you in four weeks here on the streets of San Francisco. We are working hard so that the Walk for Life is a unifying and uplifting experience for you and the 50,000 friends who walk with us. We have helpful information on our website, so please be sure to check it out for resources, schedules and updates. You can get updates on the schedule, speakers and read our Mission Statement.
All are welcome. Be sure to invite friends and family so we continue to share our message of hope and healing as we proclaim that women deserve better than abortion!

KUDOS TO OUR WFL LODGING HOSTS
Since we first started the Walk for Life, we have been blessed by the Religious Orders and Parishes who have opened their doors to our groups traveling to the Walk for Life from all over the West Coast! They allow our groups to come and camp out (indoors) for the weekend. It is because of their generosity which makes it possible for many of these groups to attend the WFL. And, so we THANK THEM!!!
This year is no exception, as we’ll be housing over 600 people (so far) traveling from as far north as Oregon and as far south as New Mexico. God bless and reward the Little Sisters of the Poor, the Salesians of SS. Peter and Paul Parish, Star of the Sea Church and their stellar staff, St. Peter’s Catholic Church, St. Cecelia’s Church and the Cathedral of St. Mary’s.
OTHER LODGING OPTIONS
We have reserved a block of rooms at the Holiday Inn – Civic Center at the reduced rate of $139/night (single/double). For more information and to register, go here.
Other options include hostels or AirBnb.
CHARTER BUS REGISTRATION
If you are planning to come with a large group, registering your bus is required. It is essential in the facilitation and the parking and handling of the buses that participate each year. The registration fee is now $100 and the deadline is January 14, 2017.
NEED A RIDE?
If you, or someone you know, needs transportation to the Walk for Life, visit our website’s “Need a Ride?” page. Not only will it get you to the Walk, it’s great way to meet new pro-life friends!
YOU CAN HELP US PUBLICIZE THE WALK
The Walk for Life is built at the grass roots level. We need help from people willing to hand out fliers at their parishes and speaking with their pastors about promoting the Walk. Email for more information.
STAY CONNECTED AND UP TO DATE
Have you and the members of your group signed up for our email blasts? This is the best way to keep up with all of the latest information and news.
