Summer Greetings to our Walk for Life family! We wanted to alert you of a few things regarding our upcoming 11th annual Walk for Life on January 24, 2015. It is now only a short 5 months away!
T-SHIRT DESIGN CONTEST
The Walk for Life, the nation’s second-largest pro-life event, invites all pro-life artists to use your talents in the service of the littlest among us. As we prepare for the 2015 Walk, we are sponsoring a new Walk for Life West Coast graphic contest!
There will be two divisions: one for high school age artists and one for college-age artists. The winning logo will adorn Walk for Life West Coast hoodies, t-shirts, coffee mugs, etc., which will be offered through the Café Press website and at the Walk.
Winning entries will receive a prize of $500; second-place entries a prize of $300; and third place entries a prize of $200. And what’s more, the first place winners will be interviewed live on EWTN’s Life on the Rock pre-walk television show!
Entry details will be released at a later time, but you can start working on your creations now. The winners will be chosen by the Walk for Life organizing committee. This is your chance to capture the spirit of the Walk, and to express your vision of the future of the pro-life movement. We look forward to seeing your work!
Our confirmed speakers include:
Julia Holcomb, who was a legal ward of Steven Tyler (of Aerosmith fame) and had a child by him, will share her poignant story of abortion.
Jim and Joy Pinto, theirs is a beautiful ministry witnessing to the joys of marriage and family, and respect for the dignity of all human life as they assist mothers in every manner possible to protect the lives of their unborn children.
Rev. Clenard Childress, President of L.E.A.R.N. and Founder of BlackGenocide.org will once again grace us with his presence as a Rally Speaker.
We will be announcing additional speakers as they are confirmed.
