Each Tuesday this month, 10% of our sales at She Bop will go to the Portland Women's Crisis Line. PWCL is a hugely important organization that offers 24/7 support to survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence. PWCL is an invaluable asset to our community, and we are honored to be able to give back to them for the tireless work that they do.

Orchestre L'Pow! and Drambuie Present "La Femme Celeste"
Saturday, May 4th — 8:00 p.m. — Bossanova Ballroom — $10-40
 Orchestre L'Pow! is pleased to announce a very special performance with Jo "Boobs" Weldon, one of the foremost burlesque performers of our time. In this second show of their 2013 season they celebrate Mother's Day the L'Pow! way: with tributes to various Goddess icons from around the world. Isis to Aphrodite, and Hera to Freya, they pay homage to the symbols of fertility, creativity, birth and death.
Also gracing the stage are guest star Boom Boom L'Roux (Seattle, WA) and the fabulous L'Pow! Company Dancers; Madison Moone, Itty Bitty Bang Bang, and The Infamous Nina Nightshade. The hep host with the most is none other than internationally renowned burlesque MC, Vincent Drambuie. All dance routines performed to the post-punk big band sounds of Orchestre L'Pow!, the Northwest's premier burlesque pit band.
