Good Food Jobs is a gastro-job search tool, designed to link people looking for meaningful food work with the businesses that need their energy, enthusiasm, and intellect. We post opportunities with farmers and food artisans, policy makers and purveyors, retailers and restaurateurs, economists, ecologists, and more.

NICE THINGS PEOPLE SAY

Just wanted to share how influential and important you are to us, and those in the food world who are really looking for purpose led lives and meaningful work.
                           - Natalie, GFJ Fan

We are so pleased to be of service.

We always say: there is no more powerful realization than to know that you are not alone.

We started Good Food Jobs - officially launched on October 4, 2010 - to create a space where folks that felt the same way that we did could come together, to connect with people that truly believed they could make a difference while doing work that they both believed in and enjoyed.

This week is part one (of two) of our
3 year anniversary celebration.

We are a dedicated, ambitious, capable, and inspiring community of food lovers. We are all making contributions, all over the globe. This week, for the first time ever, there are more than 40,000 active Good Food Jobs users. We are so amazed by the magnitude of positive change that is coming from our collective and individual efforts. So please:
Tell us about your contributions to the food world. We'll be collecting and sharing our favorites in next week's newsletter.

In the meantime, here's a peek into some other people's 'offices'. Our latest Instagram Challenge #workitGFJ showed us the way different GoFoJo fans work. Taking first place are the strategic folks at Bedford Cheese Shop (@BedfordCheeseShop), who use their wares to attract well-known food and beverage named celebrities, such as Ice-T (see below).

Here are a few of our other favorites:

Thanks for sharing with us. We are so excited to share, and celebrate, with YOU.

Cheers,

Transition Lab

Some of the best ideas come from the simplest, most obvious solutions. When we hear Russell talk about the beginnings of Transition Lab - a seed of an idea that has blossomed into an award-winning model - it seems so refreshingly clear. I suppose what impresses us most is that he took that simple idea and made it happen. And now many other folks can benefit from it, too. Read More
