The second will cover choice of law in cross-border insolvency cases, a growing practice that will only become more important as our world continues to shrink.

The Journal is also excited to announce our first keynote speaker, the Honorable Mary Grace Diehl, who will be speaking on the development of the Bankruptcy Code throughout the 40 years since its passage. Judge Diehl sat on the Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Georgia from 2004 until her retirement last year. Prior to taking the bench, Judge Diehl chaired the bankruptcy group at Troutman Sanders LLP. Judge Diehl received her B.A. summa cum laude from Canisius College in Buffalo, N.Y., and her J.D. cum laude from Harvard Law School.
