LAWS is excited to announce the 38th Annual LAWS Pub Night with legendary MC Professor Freer! Each year, LAWS hosts an auction to raise funds for summer grants. College Football Hall of Fame

GSGA invites all of Emory's graduate and professional students to attend its annual formal event: A Night at the College Football Hall of Fame!

This event is a great opportunity to meet your fellow graduate and professional students and have a fun night at a fantastic venue. All attendees will have the opportunity to walk around the College Football Hall of Fame in downtown Atlanta, see several exhibits, attempt football skill challenges (like kicking a field goal), and dance while enjoying an open bar and desserts. Cocktail attire is recommended for all attendees.

Tickets are on sale now! Early bird student tickets will be available until they sell out. Once those tickets are gone, students will be able to purchase regular student tickets for $30, and all guest tickets are $40.

Tickets must be purchased by 5pm on February 4 through Eventbrite (gsga.eventbrite.com)! However, do not wait until the last minute to purchase tickets as they are likely to sell out before February 4.

ELJ Thrower Symposium

The 2019 Randolph W. Thrower Symposium, “Exploring Gun Violence in Modern America: Law, Policy, and Social Movements,” will be held Thursday, February 7, starting at 8 a.m. A keynote discussion, “The Second Amendment in an Era of Mass Shootings,” will be held by Robert J. Cottrol of George Washington University School of Law and Adam Winkler of UCLA School of Law. A panel discussion on gun-related crime and enforcement will include panelist Sally Yates, Partner, King & Spalding and former US Deputy Attorney General.
