Club Registration: In the college prep world, undoubtedly the most frequently given advice is to have extra curricular activities, especially those that you are very involved in or have a high position in. This does not include the top level of a video game. If you are a freshman or a sophomore, sign up for clubs that you’re interested in. Joining a variety of clubs toward the beginning of the school year (when the work load is typically lighter) is a good way for students to figure out which clubs truly interest them. As the year progresses, and the work load becomes heavier, students can narrow down their club involvement to the ones they enjoy most. If you’re a junior or senior, you should be thinking about taking on a leadership position in one of your clubs. Another great idea is to get involved with your religious community.
