Dear Sir or Madam,
I know that this is a very busy time for you, and I only ask for a few minutes. The Cato Institute’s Center for Educational Freedom has been tracking the effects of COVID-19 on private schools since the beginning of lockdowns in March 2020, and we are seeking to understand whether the net effect nationally has been to increase or decrease enrollment.
Please click the button below for a short survey on private school enrollment during COVID-19. We promise anonymity for you and your school – no names will be published or publicly associated with data. Our goal is simply to gather data from a nationally representative sample of schools.

We would like your response no later than Friday, September 24, 2021, so we can release our findings early in this new school year.

If we receive a response, you will not only have our thanks, we will also send you a Cato Institute Pocket Constitution – including the Declaration of Independence and a commentary from Constitutional scholar Roger Pilon – as a token of our appreciation.
With best regards,
Neal P. McCluskey, Ph.D.
