UAE | HELP SAVE THE LIFE OF AHMED MANSOOR

Please join us and take action to help save the life of unfairly imprisoned human rights defender and blogger Ahmed Mansoor. He remains in isolation in Al-Sadr prison in Abu Dhabi. According to information provided by The Gulf Centre for Human Rights, Mansoor is still held in terrible conditions, in a cell with no bed and no water, despite an unconfirmed report that his six-weeks long hunger strike has ended. Help spread his message by taking action now!

CAMPAIGN | TOGETHER WE DEFEND HUMAN RIGHTS

ISHR is proudly supporting the new campaign #TogetherWeDefend launched by UN Special Rapporteur on human rights defenders, Michel Forst's office. The campaign promotes human rights defenders worldwide by fully recognising the good they do.

This follows the provisional release of two other women activists one month earlier. The strong message given to Saudi Arabia by the international community at the 40th session of the Human Rights Council works!

REPRISALS | UN AND STATES CAN AND MUST DO MORE TO PREVENT AND ADDRESS REPRISALS

Defenders bring crucial information and perspectives regarding human rights situations on the ground and international and regional mechanisms depend on that knowledge and input to make informed decisions.
