SEASONS GREETINGS TO ALL.

CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR HOURS.

I will be open as usual, 11 to 6 Tues to Sat but closing at 5 between Christmas and New Year.

Its been a great year at TAMCO, a huge thank you to all my customers.

2017 has lots of exciting things in store.

On the guitar front I will be receiving two guitars from Ervin Somogyi, also guitars from Simon Fay, Leo Buendia and Grit Laskin among others. I also have one or two exiting projects on the brew.

My first delivery of Collings guitars is due in February. I have three used Collings in stock (one below).

Mandolins wise I am very well stock for those planning a visit between Christmas and New Year, full stock of Weber, Northfield, Collings and many others.

I should be getting my fist delivery of Pono octave mandolins in January. I am very excited about this, they will be in the £800 to £1400 price range.

I am also working on stocking a new budget range, watch this space.

On a personal level I am greatly looking forward to the mandola I have commissioned from Max Girouard.

Northfield are a small operation and can only send me four Big Mons next year, one is already spoken for. I sold eight this year so best to but a deposit down if you want one.

Martin O-18K 1929. £2995.

'29 O-18K in great condition. It sounds great with a very sweet and warm tone.

Collings C10 custom red with Baggs Lyric pickup 2014.

Beautiful C10 custom built in 2014 in as new condition. It has a gorgeous sweet and warm tone with great balance and clarity. Perfect for intimate fingerstyle but also responds well to a pick, a great all-rounder.

Used guitars, click here.

Clark A5 Varnish USED.

This hand rubbed varnish finished A5v from Austin has everthing you could want. Its loud when you want it to be and soft and mellow when desired. Fantastic chop and pop with wonderful depth of tone and resonance, Great for bluegrass but much much more. A new one from Austin would be well over £5000.

French polished varnish finish, radius fretboard, Schaller tuning machines, bone nut, Cumberland Acoustics Bridge, Engraved Silver James tailpiece. Carbon fiber reinforced neck, Red Spruce top and Red Maple back, bound in ivoroid with black and white side purfling.

It has some marks on the top, see photos, nothing deep or affecting it in any way.

Used mandolins, click here.

Gibson Style O 1920.

This sold within days of arriving. I have my eye on another that is in collectors condition but it would be over £10000. Let me know if you are interested.
Happy pickin'.
