The first oak back and sides parlour I had from Steve Kinnaird sold very quickly so I ordered another.
There was a lot of discussion on the AGF about whether it should have been stained darker but I stuck with natural and I'm glad I did. That's not an issue this time as this peice of English oak is darker anyways.
And the rosette.
Bown OO 1985. You would never guess that this little beauty has a fourteen and one eight inch lower bout by listening to it. It has fantastic volume and projection and it plays like a dream with a very full and resonant tone.
2005 Bill Tippin OMT in excellent condition. Classic mad rose tone with fantastic depth and richness, it has great clarity and remarkable individual note definition. The bass notes are very well defined, the mids warm and sonorous and the trebles are fat and clear..
Used Patrick James Eggle Linville in cedar and rosewood in excellent condition. £1795.
Most Eastman models are now in stock, mandocello due back in in a couple of weeks.

Bouzouki made by Herb Taylor from Colorado in 2010. Cedar top, gorgeous figured maple back and sides, twenty five and a half inch scale, one and a quarter inch nut width, Gotoh tuners and gigbag.
It has a very big and full tone with great depth and volume. Currently tuned GDAE with octave pairs for the bottom two, it could be tuned in many variations.
