ONC Releases the 2017 Interoperability Standards Advisory

The Department of Health and Human Services’ (HHS) Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT (ONC) has released the 2017 Interoperability Standards Advisory (ISA).  The ISA “catalogues key information about standards and implementation specifications – such as whether they are required by any federal programs or how widely used they are – to help enhance information for key clinical data, including medication lists, immunization records, and test results.”
This is an update to the 2016 version and the draft 2017 version published in August.  This year’s ISA is published for the first time on an interactive platform that can be updated in real time and allows stake holders to comment.
