Inside This Issue:

President’s Message

October is my favorite time of the year because of the beautiful fall colors, the smell of mulled cider, cooler weather, fall festivals, bon fires, and s’mores. My husband and I have hundreds of trick-or-treaters stop by our home each year on Halloween, so we use the first couple of weeks of the month for decorating and stocking up on candy for all of our little visitors.

On October 16th, the Tennessee delegates will be sitting in the House of Delegates in Baltimore, MD. There will be continued discussion surrounding HIM Reimagined, but we are also hoping to receive more information surrounding patient directives that we can pass on to our members to resolve confusion on this topic. Tennessee will be presenting a SBAR (Situation, Background, Assessment, Recommendation) regarding a new House of Delegates arrangement in a breakout session. Our goal is to create awareness for the need of more engagement and a better channel for communication from the state CSAs to the national level.
Here’s to wishing everyone a fabulous fall!
