Romence Garden Center's  Spring Gardening Tips

Romence Gardens

Isn't it time to add a little Romence to your life?
As temperatures and plants start to rise, are you ready for a new gardening season?

Take time to survey your yard.
~ Clean and mulch flower beds to keep those pesky weeds at bay.
~ Remove dead tree branches and prune woody plants.
~ Trim summer-blooming shrubs now; spring-blooming shrubs and trees should be pruned after they flower.
~ Check gardening tools and note which ones you need to replace or add to your collection.
~ Prepare to fertilize your soil and lawn.
~ Plant pansies, Lenten roses, and perennials such as hostas and daylilies by early spring.
~ Now is the time to design your vegetable garden and purchase seeds.
