July Newsletter

Summer is in full swing, and so are the savings opportunities for Compact customers! We're proud to announce that we recently launched a free online home energy assessment, as well as increased our fridge and freezer recycling rebate to $100. We're also excited by the growing number of enrollments in CLC Local Green since it began earlier this year, in turn helping advance clean, locally-generated renewable energy. We appreciate all of our customers for making these services and programs possible, and look forward to continuing our work together in the coming months. Let's splash into summer savings together!

Support Clean Energy through CLC Local Green

Solar field

Since launching this winter, we've been excited to see increasing enrollments in CLC Local Green. While the Compact ensures 100% of energy used by customers participating in its standard power supply program comes from renewable sources, participants in CLC Local Green can choose to have either an additional 50% or 100% of their electricity matched by renewable energy generated right here in New England. More and more residents across the Cape and Vineyard are installing cold-climate heat pumps to heat and cool their homes. While this technology can provide a more efficient option for creating comfortable indoor spaces, it's important to correctly operate and maintain your heat pump to maximize its benefits. Check out this reader-friendly guide from the Northeast Energy Efficiency Partnerships (NEEP) to make sure you get the most from your heat pump.
