As the holiday season kicks into full gear, I’m thrilled to share with you an exclusive new holiday cocktail recipe created by celebrated mixologist and author of “Eat Your Drink” Matthew Biancaniello.
Matthew and I became fast friends shortly after meeting because we both value food and drink as more than a function of flavor. We see food as an experience. The presentation and delivery of the foods we create is just as important as the ingredients in them. And the process of bringing the ingredients to their fullest potential is not one that can be rushed or cut short. We find our purpose in crafting food for your enjoyment and for you to share that joyful experience with others.
I’m very proud that Matthew has created this Coffee & Balsamic Cocktail to pair with our Chocolate Decadence Cookie and hope that you and yours get to enjoy it this holiday season.

Coffee and Balsamic 2 oz Koloa Coffee Rum*
3/4 oz agave syrup (1:1 ratio of water to agave)
3/4 fresh lime juice
3-4 blackberries (depending on size)
1/2 oz balsamic vinegar
Muddle everything except coffee rum, then add coffee rum and ice. Shake and strain into a rocks glass with ice and garnish with blackberries on top.
