Fair Trade Awards Ceremony 2014 and Exhibition Launch
On the 14th November 2014 the Scottish Fair Trade Forum, along with the University of Edinburgh, will host the annual Scottish Fair Trade Awards Ceremony. As well as the ceremony, this is the opening of the Fairtrade Foundation's photography exhibition, 'Fairtrade at 20: The Power of You' which was created with the Guardian Media Group and celebrates their 20th birthday. See here
for more information about the exhibition.
The event will be an informal one; attendees will have the opportunity to do some Fair Trade Christmas shopping
Equal Exchange's hot chocolate and be the first in Scotland to view
the impressive photography exhibition - along with the opportunity to meet and chat with other like minded Fair Trade supporters.
At 6.30pm the Forum will present the awards
in the five categories: Volunteer of the Year Award, Community Award, Innovation Award, Campaigner of the Year Award and Outstanding Achievement Award. This year we have had lots of nominations and the competition is fierce. Be there to be first to hear who wins!
The University of Edinburgh will be hosting the photography exhibition
for a week from 14th until 21st November before it continues on its UK wide tour.
