Intersections: Contemporary Artist Films
October 29, 2016 - February 6, 2017
Curated by Darrin Martens, Audain Art Museum’s Gail and Stephen A. Jarislowsky Chief Curator, this exhibition is made up of a series of films that explore important intersecting themes of time, space, place as well as larger global social narratives related to the environment and the migration of peoples and ideas. The exhibition includes work by Matilda Aslizadeh, Patrick Bernatchez, Stan Douglas, Pascal Grandmaison and Marie-Claire Blais, Lisa Jackson, Fiona Tan and Althea Thauberger.

contemporary artists who choose to express their ideas through film and video. Join visual artists Fiona Tan, Patrick Bernatchez, Matilda Aslizadeh, Lisa Jackson, Althea
Thauberger and Pascal Grandmaison for a round table dialogue that explores the
ideas, motivation and content found within video art today.
