Welcome to the August Update from Breathing Better Living Well!
Whew! It's a hot one, but nonetheless, hopefully it's been a good summer for you so far.
You know, nothing says "summer" like the simple things in life: Baseball, feasting on comfort food of the season, talking about the weather, phoning a friend with a question, and listening to great music. Well, this month we have all that here for you, COPD style...and more.
So, my friend, pour a tall glass of something cold, put your feet up and take some time (it's summer, so there's no rush) to see what's new at BBLW.
Here we go...

On a personal note...
In spite of the loss of a close friend and the serious health condition of another, it's been a good summer for me. It's been a busy one - but not too busy to do those summery things...host an out-of-town guest, spend a week at the cottage we rent, fuss with my little container garden and take walks along the lake. I've also managed to do some pleasure reading and of course - some cooking! There's been an abundance of comfort food at our house lately...including some old family favorites. I'm sharing this one with you today, a refreshing side dish - one we call simply, "Summer Stuff."
Take care, dear friends. I wish for you blue skies, refreshing breezes, and time for simple pleasures.
Breathe well, and I'll see you next month!
"May you live all the days of your life."
