A Summer for Success

Campus Shot

Campus has been buzzing with more activity in recent days as students continue to participate in the Spartan Summer, including those who started the Plus One program earlier this month.

A Message from the Dean

Greetings from Dunham Hall:

Now that we are in the middle of June, you are probably beginning to think about the fall term. I am excited to report that faculty and staff are busy preparing to welcome you and your peers back this August. Are you registered yet? If not, you can secure a seat in fall 2021 or spring 2022 courses by registering via WebAdvisor or contacting your student success advisor for assistance. You can schedule an appointment via Handshake or email

At AU, we are dedicated to supporting you at each step of your educational journey:

Financial Aid counselors are available to help make college affordable.

Our student support services ensure that you stay on track for graduation. Did you know that your student success advisor can help you build your academic plan? Also, the Academic Support Center provides tutoring services, academic coaching, and writing support. Phillips Library provides various resources as well.

Libby's Place and the Spartan Attic are both available to assist those in need of food, toiletries, and professional attire.

Career Services supports your vocational exploration and job search. The popular Sundays @ 7 Career Conversations series will return this fall with all new career insights.

Finally, we are looking forward to the opening later this summer of the Hill Center for Student Success, which is located next to the Wackerlin Center for Faith and Action.

There is a lot going on. It is an exciting time to be a Spartan! If you have any questions or need support, you are always welcome to contact me directly.

Best wishes,

Toby J. Arquette, PhD
Dean, Dunham School of Business and Public Policy
