Here's to a season of thanksgiving
Thank you, Spartans, for your remarkable resilience and dedication to the transformative power of learning this semester.
A Message from the Dean
Greeting from Dunham Hall:
As I write this newsletter, I am looking out my window and enjoying the crisp autumn air as the snow blows and the last leaves on the trees fall. I always love this time of year. Thanksgiving is just a week away with the full-blown holiday season about to begin. In today’s newsletter, let me highlight some exciting news.
DePaul University College of Law Partnership
In my last newsletter, I announced our first 3+3 Aurora University-Marquette University Law School partnership which enables highly motivated students to apply to law school during their junior year and concurrently complete their undergraduate degree with coursework from their first year of law school at Marquette.
Today I am pleased to announce another partnership with DePaul University College of Law. The Aurora-DePaul agreement guarantees law school admission and a $12,00 (minimum) scholarship to as many as three AU seniors who meet the pathway agreement. In addition to meeting all criteria for guaranteed admission outlined in the Aurora-DePaul agreement, interested students must complete the LSAT by February 2022, and submit their completed application, including LSAT score, by Tuesday, March 15, 2022.
Students interested in either the DePaul or Marquette partnership programs should notify Dr. Matt Dabros, Aurora University's pre-law advisor. Learn more about AU’s pre-law program online.

Many of you may already know Tyler from his previous role as the graduate admission counselor, primarily supporting the MBA program. In his new role, Tyler will continue to support the MBA Plus One admission process while moving into the internship and career development space for both undergraduate and graduate students in the Dunham School.
Brianne Di Pasquantonio and Tyler will be collaborating on internship and career development support until the end of December. Starting in January 2022, Tyler will assume the full responsibilities of all Dunham School internships and career development as Brianne moves into a new leadership role in AU Online.

Sundays @ 7 Career Conversations
Join us Sunday, November 21, for a conversation with psychology alumna Kim Harner ’08. Kim came to AU as a transfer student and quickly developed her keen interest in psychology and the intersection of statistics, analytics, and research. After graduating, she earned a master’s degree in industrial/organizational psychology from Elmhurst University. Kim joined SunCoke Energy, a $1.3 billion manufacturing company headquartered in Lisle, Illinois, where she assisted in establishing human resources policies and practices for nearly 1,000 employees. Kim now serves as director of human resources, overseeing all aspects of the HR function. With more than a decade of increasing responsibility, she knows what it takes from the employer’s view to stand out as an applicant and succeed in an organization. To attend this session, please register online.
