April 27 - 28: Science (Grade 4 Only)
• Make-up Testing will be scheduled immediately
• Students have unlimited time for each test
• Important for students to be on time for school.
Students are reminded to eat a good breakfast and get plenty of rest!
• New: 3rd and 4th Grades will switch lunch times on April 12 - 15 and April 19 - 21 to help with scheduling. Math testing will take place in math classes.

1ST GRADE WEATHER SHOW - APRIL 22, FRI., 2PM
The annual 1st Grade Weather Show is on Friday, April 22, at 2:00pm, in the Cafeteria. Please remember to have your child wear a BLUE shirt. Parents of 1st Graders are welcome to attend.
EARTH DAY - APRIL 22, FRI.
Earth day is this Friday and we still need to color our Earth! Here are some great earth-saving tips from some of our Beaumont students: "I take short showers to save water; When I go to the grocery store with my mom we bring our own bags; I reuse by using the back of paper; and I play outside on my basketball hoop instead of the iPad." Encourage your child to share their own eco-friendly tips so we can fill the rest of our "earth" with color!

BES MINI-THON, SUPERHEROES FOR A CAUSE -
MAY 20, FRIDAY
The BES Mini-THON kicks off on Monday, May 9 and culminates with a dance party on Friday, May 20
. Mrs. Melissa McConaghy
(Gym Teacher) will be teaching everyone new dance moves to get ready. Mini-THON is a multi-hour, interactive, fun-filled event where children raise awareness and funds for pediatric cancer. Modeled after the Penn State IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon (THON), Mini-THONs have been making a difference in the lives of childhood cancer patients and their families for the last 20 years.
