A FUN MOVIE NIGHT
Thank you for having your children join us to watch Minions
last Friday and supporting the HSA. About 200 students who have seen Minions
multiple times already, came to watch it with their friends. They were greeted by friendly life-sized Minions. Many children were dressed in pajamas and brought their pillows and blankets. The quality of the projector and sound system was much improved, thanks to the generous gift from the HSA. A special thanks to Movie Night Co-Chairs, Magan Pilato and Andrea Krick, for organizing the relaxed event and letting students vote for the movie this year. As always, thank you to the parent volunteers for helping the evening run smoothly.

FIRST GRADE: PUBLISHED BOOKS, NEED SIGNED RELEASE FORMS BY APRIL 6, WED.
For over 20 years, Beaumont Elementary along with other T/E elementary schools have been publishing individual students' books. Each Beaumont First Grader is currently writing and illustrating his/her own book entitled "All About Me." This year, we are using the publishing company, Studentreasures, to professionally bind the books. The HSA has generously paid for one book per child. If you have a First Grader and would like to purchase additional copies of your child’s book, you can pre-order them directly from Student Treasures
. They make great memorable gifts. There is no obligation to purchase an extra book, but we need to make sure that each child's parent/guardian signs and returns the release form to the student's teacher by April 6
. Mark your calendars for the Author's Tea on Thursday, June 9, at 9:15am

PHILLY LOVE WALL
T&E CARE IS LOOKING FOR KIDS CLOTHES
It's a wrap...of love. Thanks to all who helped their children participate in sharing their kindness on the Philly Love Wall at Beaumont this past month. It could also be called a Wall of Inspiration. In case you didn't have a chance to see it, here is just a taste of what the MANY hearts on there said: "I cleaned my brother's room and my mom's room"; "I gave my little sister a kiss goodnight"; "I helped shovel snow for a neighbor"; "Made snack bags for the homeless"; "I helped my mom calm my sister down"; "I helped my sister with her homework". We are blessed to have a community of such helpful, kind kids at Beaumont! Thank you to the Community Service Committee Co-Chairs, Jean Allen, Jen Bacani, Valerie Cheng, and Becky Pitofsky for putting it all together.
T&E Care is looking for donations of new or gently used clothing for infants through teens
for its upcoming Kids’ Clothing Grab Bag. There will be a collection box at Beaumont from March 31 - April 8
. Clothing for all seasons, plus good quality shoes, boots, coats, belts, or other accessories will be accepted. There will be a teen girls Pop-up Shop again this year – so we’ll need lots of teen girls clothes to help make this special! The Kids' Clothing Grab Bag will take place on April 15 and 16 at St. Matthew's United Methodist Church. This fundraiser for T&E Care is a great chance for everyone to restock your kids’ closets with great quality clothes. A suggested donation of $10/bag is appreciated. For questions, contact email@example.com
