Share Your Photos

"Show, don’t tell." It makes for good journalism. It's also important when trying to raise money for news.

Just like last year, we want to show the public the story of the nonprofit news movement through great, professional photos that showcase the work of your newsroom. Next week, we ask you to turn your cameras around to help show donors what their gifts during NewsMatch will support. We've shared some tips and suggestions here.

Share your photos with us by Oct. 4, and we'll use them to help launch NewsMatch on Nov. 1 and throughout the campaign!

Local Match resources added to NewsMatch Campaign HQ!

The NewsMatch Campaign HQ is a place where NewsMatch participants can go to get updates, browse resources or seek help. Have you checked it out yet?

We're building it out by adding more content every week.

Toolkit: Securing Local Matches
Many of you have asked for advice on how to go about securing additional matches. We created a new local match toolkit for you and your Board. You'll find tips, talking points, outreach letters and slide deck that you can customize and make your own.

Building out your profile is the central website where the public can look up participating newsrooms and make donations to multiple organizations at once. If you had a page last year, you can log in anytime to update your page. If this is your first NewsMatch, you'll need to create a new profile for your organization.

Instructions for both new and returning organizations can be found in the Campaign HQ.
