Dear Artists & Respected Community Members,
SOMArts Cultural Center invites you to deepen your relationship with us and expand your creative practice by submitting a proposal to The Commons Curatorial Residency Program. If you are not personally interested in applying, please assist SOMArts in garnering a robust set of proposals by forwarding this notice to your respective communities.
Artists, independent curators and arts organizations presenting contemporary work in any medium may apply. Full information about the
submission process can be found here.
The proposal period for 2014–2015 exhibitions is open Monday, September 16th through Tuesday, October 15th, 2013 at 11:59pm. Applicants invited to submit a full application will be notified in mid-November.
Financial support provided by The Commons Curatorial Residency enables artists to continue their professional development, form new collaborative partnerships, and engage community residents through programming that serves the mission of SOMArts: to promote and nurture art on the community level and foster an appreciation of and respect for all cultures.
