DELTA Announces
2018-19 Grant Recipients

DELTA awarded more than $240,000 in new and continuing DELTA Grants to 29 recipients across the university including eight academic colleges and the Division of Academic and Student Affairs. We look forward to collaborating with our faculty partners to create innovative solutions to instructional challenges.

Workshop Spotlight

Moodle: Best Practices for Course Design

Now that your course is up and running, let DELTA help you take it to the next level by joining us online for our Moodle best practices workshop on Sept. 20. We will explore how to organize and structure content in your online and face-to-face courses.

VR Module Receives Impact Award

The First Impressions virtual reality module received a 2018 Campus Technology Impact Award in the teaching and learning category. Developed in partnership with the Global Training Initiative, the experience allows students to dive into the minds of a global project team in order to teach cultural competencies in a low-stakes, highly immersive environment.

Zoom will be available to the NC State community this fall.

The web-conferencing software can be used for a variety of synchronous video communication and collaboration needs. Zoom will become part of the WolfWare suite of tools to support online teaching and learning at NC State. At the end of the academic year, Collaborate will be retired as we transition to Zoom.
